Greenkiln Cottage Penrith

Suzanne and David look forward to welcoming you to their beautiful 18th century cottage with views over open countryside and the Helvelyn range of hills beyond. Two double rooms are with modern en-suite facilities, one has a bath and a shower. The Rose room can sleep 4 and is an excellent family room, rooms can be used as twin accommodation. All rooms have tea and coffee facilities, towels, dressing gowns, slippers, hairdryer, water, sky+TV. The rate includes a full Cumbrian Breakfast. There is a guest lounge with a log burning stove. We can provide lock up facilities for cycles. Drying facility is available. The village has an 18 century inn (Queens Head) which serves meals and good beers. The Yanwath Gate Inn is 1 mile outside the village and is an excellent restuarantpub serving top quality meals and wines.

Directions

M6 North, exit at Junction 40 take the 4th exit off roundabout, at next roundabout take 4th exit signed Shap, over Eamont Bridge, at mini roundabout turn right signed Pooley Bridge and Tirril. Come through the village of Tirril, past theQueens Head, just as you leave the village you will see a white cottage on the left hand side, go past the cottage (you will see the BandB sign), park on the drive, come through the gates down into the garden to the Conservatorykitchen door.
