@EdenGate is a family run Victorian guest house offering bed and breakfast accommodation situated mile from Penrith town centre. All of the main Lake District and Eden Valley attractions are readily accessible, many by public transport. @EdenGate is a great place to stop overnight if you are tackling Le Jog or the C2C cycle route. We have secure storage for cycles and are very used to helping dry wet cycling gear! We can accommodate parties of up to 12 and are happy to organise accommodation for larger groups in neighbouring guest houses. Directions

By Car From M6 Junction 40 - Take the A66 signposted Brough and Scotch Corner. At the first roundabout, after approximately 34 mile, turn left into Bridge Lane. Head in to Penrith for about 12 mile to the first set of traffic lights. Cross straight over and you will find @EdenGate about 100 yards further on to your left. If you wish to use our private parking, which is to the rear of the house, turn left at the traffic lights into Southend Road (a one-way street) and you will find @EdenGate about 100 yards along to your right.From A66 westbound On reaching the outskirts of Penrith turn right at the first roundabout into Bridge Lane (third exit). Head in to Penrith for about 12 mile to the first set of traffic lights. Cross straight over and you will find @EdenGate about 100 yards further on to your left. If you wish to use our private parking, which is to the rear of the house, turn left at the traffic lights into Southend Road (a one-way street) and you will find @EdenGate about 100 yards along on your right.By Rail Penrith has a railway station on the West Coast main line. This has regular services to and from London-Euston, Plymouth, Glasgow, Edinburgh and all points in between.If you arrive by train, @EdenGate is about 10 minutes' walk from the station through the town centre or you can take a taxi from the rank in the station forecourt.
